Ford ½ Ton Pick-Up truck, year 1946. Chassis (VIN) number: 669C1096804. Body colour Ivory (crème) white. The interior features dark brown painted panels and a black faux leather bench. This fantastic work horse was sold new in the USA. The car was refurbished in the USA in the 1990s. The automobile was imported to the Netherlands in 1995 and registered for road use in 1998. The car is complete with a history file containing old documents, photos, the US title, the last US license plate and the original owner’s manual. Photos of the restoration are also present. This fantastic Ford pick-up truck is in a very good condition, and the over thirty-year-old restoration gives one the impression to be looking at a fully original car with a light patina! This Ford truck features the wonderful chrome waterfall-style grille, and a truck bed clad with wood planks and metal strips. The wood around the truck bed shows the text: Joe’s body shop Fairfield. This car is fitted with optional extras like the passenger-side windshield wiper and interior heater. This fantastic, and almost 80 years old, Ford ½ Ton Pick-Up truck shows all the original details. The 100 horsepower 239 cubic-inch flathead V8 engine runs beautifully, and the 3-speed manually operated gearbox shifts perfectly.
