Description
One of only 5 Lotus Esprit JPS "John Player Special" cars sold new in France by Lotus, number 26. 147 were actually produced. 94 were reserved for the UK, 26 were sold in the USA and 27 in the rest of the world.
The bodywork has been sandblasted, epoxied and painted gloss black. The chassis, suspension arms, transmissions and several supports and parts were sandblasted and powder-coated.
All the ball joints, silent blocks and other suspension parts are new. The interior has been completely refurbished by a saddler. The dashboard and steering wheel are covered in leather, the other parts are in black imitation leather and pale yellow corduroy fabric. The 4-cylinder 2. 0l type 907 engine is not original but corresponds to the model. The steering wheel and clutch kit are new. The gearbox has been dismantled and checked.
