1970 Jaguar E Type 4. 2 Automatic 2+2 Coupe , Original UK RHD example , Despatched to Rossleigh Of Edinburgh on the 5th of December 1969 , Registered June 1970 , subject of a bare metal repaint , Engine and gearbox reconditioning by marque specialist in 1998 costing around £20, 000 , Since this time the E Type has covered approximately 5500 to today's recorded mileage of 79, 605 miles . Presents superbly in its light blue with dark blue hide interior and standing on chrome wire wheels . I sold this E Type back in 2007 and it has been owned by the same keeper since . Other than a post storage service the E Type is instantly ready to use . The motor and gearbox are excellent. The oil pressure maintains well at normal running temperature @ 50-60 psi , There is no evidence of overheating and the gearbox operates smoothly and correctly . A 3 owner car supplied with current V5C , Jaguar Heritage , Certificate , Extensive history , Original handbook pack and 3 sets of keys . I feel this lovely Coupe is excellent value and a great looking example , To be serviced prior to delivery or collection . A very original iconic classic car which drives and sounds as wonderful as it looks !
