Alfa Romeo Duetto II serie truncated tail 2000 cc of 1979 ASI registered. Beautiful car in excellent condition. Bodywork in order, never damaged, always in the garage, no rust. Engine in excellent condition. It has Spica mechanical fuel injection, the one adopted from the Montreal and GTAs of the time, totally overhauled. New Vredstein tyres. Few kilometres travelled in relation to its age. The upholstery and soft top are new.
The car has been checked over from top to bottom and just needs to be loved and driven. It has a long way to go before it needs no further work. I bought it in the 1990s precisely because it had Spica fuel injection. The engine starts cold the first time, has no carburettor holes, does not foul the spark plugs and has exceptional power for the weight of the car. The standard limited slip differential helps.
There is a special taste in driving, a real Alfa, very elastic and with an overwhelming pick-up without the defects of carburettor Alfa's.
