While its early history is unknown, that’s not where the story of this TR4 really begins. The car’s significance comes to life in 2012, when it was acquired by HERO-ERA to join their renowned “Arrive & Drive” fleet.
The goal was simple: to create a bulletproof, rally-ready TR4 that could be used repeatedly across HERO-ERA’s global events.
That process began with a full engine rebuild in 2012, and over the following 13 years—and with over £60, 000 in invoices to show for it—that goal was well and truly realised.
This TR4 represents an ideal entry point into historic rallying, with a proven track record and a serious maintenance pedigree. Recent work includes:
