The exterior paintwork is finished in black and complimented by a lovely original grey leather interior that has benefitted from a sympathetic restoration and now presents beautifully. The West of England cloth headlining and all carpets have been replaced and finished to a very high standard. The original sunroof is in full working order and can be opened and closed with one hand. Outside the paintwork is in very good order and has a nice deep shine. All four doors close with a solid railway carriage 'clunk'. In recent years the car has received a considerable mechanical overhaul. On the road this MKVI performs beautifully and drives as you would expect a well maintained motorcar should. A stainless steel exhaust system and a new stainless steel petrol tank have recently been fitted.
