Restoration & Mechanical Work
Prior to import, the Falcon had been off the road for 10 years. Since arrival, thousands of £ Pounds have been spent recommissioning and upgrading the car to a usable, enjoyable standard. Works completed include:
• Brakes: Full recommission – new cylinders, master cylinder, shoes & handbrake cables
• Fuel System: New tank, lines & fuel pump
• Cooling & HVAC: New alloy radiator, hoses, water pump, new heater core, heater lines & fan motor
• Engine: Tappets adjusted, aux belts replaced, new coil, leads & plugs
• Transmission & Diff: Fresh oil changes
• Steering: Power steering pump seals replaced, new lines fitted
• Chassis: Fully undersealed for protection
Upgrades & Enhancements
While retaining its original character, this Falcon benefits from several period-style upgrades that enhance performance and drivability:
• Edelbrock 351cfm carburettor with intake manifold & air filter
• Manual choke conversion
• Chrome rocker covers
• Fully custom exhaust system with Mustang silencers & Cherry Bombs (great V8 burble!)
• Gas shocks for improved ride and handling
• Converted to one-wire alternator (from generator)
• Engine bay tidied –
