Description
1949 Alvis TA14 Drophead Coupe by Carbodies of Coventry. Registration JVF 221 (not registered with the DVLA). This scarce Alvis "barn find" has been in storage in a barn for over 40 years. It is delightfully original and untouched and will require full restoration. Although it is not registered with the DVLA, it is listed with the Alvis Owners Club as it has been owned by four Club members in the past. We expect the club could assist the new owner in applying for the original number, which has not been re-issued. Its attractive coachbuilt two-door drophead body is finished in green with red leather upholstery and beige hood. It is supplied with some original tools and numerous spares. It doesn't have any paperwork or registration documents. A very sound and worthy restoration project.
