Description
Finished in dreaming black complimented with wonderfully patinated sand leather interior a charming example still with original painted pin stripes what a joy to drive, from a time and era long gone , this example still gives one the chance to waft around on country lanes This impressive Alvis TA-14 Mulliner Saloon has been kept indoors since joining the prior keepers collection there are on file two MoTs , that were passed with no advisories, although the latest was in 2012. Its accompanied by an impressive lever arch file of papers which includes its original buff logbook, old black-and white photos, receipts covering many decades, and a typed history of the car by its previous owner, including a description of a restoration in 1991. It appears to have remained in the same family for most of its life, having been bought by the previous owners grandfather a doctor and Alvis enthusiast specifically for his marriage in 1948. A rare patinated usable example wonderful.
