We are delighted to offer this very rare 1978 Ford Capri Mk2 2. 0 GL, an exceptional example with outstanding provenance and remarkably low mileage.
This vehicle has been owned by our Managing Director for approximately 10 years and, until recently, had been carefully stored. In the summer of last year, it was removed from storage and treated to a comprehensive recommissioning programme, including a windows-out respray to ensure a high-quality finish. The refurbishment was completed in January this year, and the car now presents beautifully.
Originally a one-family-owned car, registered to husband and wife from new, it has covered a genuine 37, 000 miles. It remains an incredibly honest and well-preserved example. It is now registered in our Managing Director’s name and has been for many years.
The Capri drives exceptionally well and looks superb — a true credit to its careful ownership and recent restoration work. It has just undergone a full professional photo and video shoot, showcasing its condition in detail.
