Purchased in Wolverhampton and sold by Bristol Street Motors in June of 1985, the car was in the same ownership from 1997 until 2022 having apparently been dry stored with little to no use during that period. It was then recommissioned in 2022-2023 with light mechanical work and extensive professional bodywork restoration by JLH. In 2023 it went on to win Opel Manta Owners Club Show n Shine Car of The Show. Having done less than 500 miles since 2010 and just a couple of hundred miles since its win, the car remains in exceptional condition. More recently it has been part of a well-loved car collection of a rally enthusiast and has seen a couple of local classic car tours. The cleanliness continues throughout the car with underside painted and protected, flawless engine bay and immaculate period cool Recaro interior.
