Vantage Engineering are very pleased to offer this exceptional V8 Volante LWB.
As a Drophead variant of the classic V8 series, the Volante combined the elegance of Aston Martin’s traditional grand touring design with the exhilaration of open-top motoring. The long wheelbase version, in particular, elevated comfort and stability and further refined the overall driving experience.
This Volante is rather special and certainly rare, insomuch, it's just 1 of 70 cars built and actually Aston Martin Production Department's own Show car and subsequently only released by them in June 1998 to Stratstones of Mayfair, who quickly sold it later the same year.
Astonishingly, it has only covered just 7, 071 miles from new.
The beautifully preserved Grampian Green paintwork contrasts very nicely with the parchment piped Forest Green leather and is topped off with a near perfect dark green mohair hood.
Renowned Coachtrimmers O'Rourke, have been commissioned to make a new bespoke leather hood cover, thus we will shoot new photos of the V8 once this is back from "Rorky's"!
It has just been through our workshop where significant monies have been spent on a thorough and extensive re-commissioning, thus everything works correctly and it drives as it should.
