Austin Allegro HL Estate, 1981, 1500cc, a Rare and Sought After Classic, I bought this car on a whim and now realise I have too many projects on to give the old girl the time she deserves, so will let it go to an enthusiast. The car has no Tax or MOT and is currently SORN. Mileage is 71k.
The battery is flat and I’ve not found the time to have a tinker and get her running. I don’t think it will take too much to get the car back on the road. The Hydrolastic suspension has started to drop slightly on one side and will need pumping up. A good project for an enthusiast which will make a good usable car.
The car has full tow bar and electrics, there is a period Radio/ Cassette player.
Finished in beige with red (ish) brown interior.
The V5 in my name. Includes Owner’s Information Pack with the Owner’s Handbook, plus a wad of old MOT certificates.
The future owner will need to trailer it home.
This is the final version of the Allegro, the Series 3.
