EXTERIOR
The Dolphin Grey exterior paint is in beautiful condition on this car and is more of an unusual colour, but a colour that is highly desired. Upon looking at this car, you can tell that this has been a cherished car throughout its lifetime. The car still has a beautiful gloss to the lacquer and the paintwork still has a lovely depth of shine. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches and this example is in wonderful condition for the age. Likewise, all light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance. The paintwork on the car is as close to new condition as possible and suffers from minimal wear throughout.
INTERIOR
The grey cloth is in brilliant condition throughout, with minimal wear to be found. The carpet, trim, switches are all free of wear and have aged very well. The seat bolsters are as new and are free from any scuffs or sagging. The carpets have been protected with BMW carpet mats from new and the result is a carpet that is factory fresh. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. –A common weakness on E30s. This example features the optional extra of cruise control, that is perhaps more of a rare option on an E30. In addition to the original Panasonic cassette/ radio headunit still in place.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This E30 is powered by the legendary BMW 2. 5-litre six-cylinder unit, mated to the automatic gearbox. This results in a silky-smooth drivetrain and this car is no exception. It performs perfectly and the car drives beautifully; responding just as you would expect even upon kick down. The engine bay is wonderfully original and looks like it has just come out of the factory, this is evident from the original look on all the hoses, trims and various metal parts. Overall, this is clearly an engine bay that is factory fresh.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 15-inch alloy wheels are in wonderful original condition and all tyres have good tread.
HISTORY
This E30 325i Saloon was first registered in August 1990 and has a complete history. The car comes with a folder full of various receipts and invoices over the years. This car has therefore been maintained properly and this is evident in person. This car is ready to be enjoyed on our roads. E30s of this condition, mileage and originality are getting scarce, especially in a colour such as Dolphin Grey Metallic.
