Here is my lovely Austin Allegro 1300 SDL in Vermillion orange with the quartic steering wheel, (someone has added this peviously as only early series one cars had the quartic wheel).
Just passed it's MOT today (04/ 05/ 2017) with no advisories and Has 50. 000 miles on the clock not much history but I would say it's genuine. Has been Ziebarted from new as it has the bungs in the door shuts and sills etc. Has had lots of recent work done including a reconditioned steering rack and track rod ends as well as 2 new upper ball joints and new rear brake shoes and 1 rear cylinder, never had any welding that I can see anywhere and doesnt need any this car is unbelieveable, detailed engine bay, has had repaint which was a windows out job and it's a very presentable job but not perfect, there is the odd blemish here and there as it's been in my garage for the last 12 months and has been an ongoing project. I very nearly gave up and sold it for spares but was spurred on by other fellow Allegro owners and other classic owners telling me it would be a crime to break it as it's so rare and in such great condition, my goal was always to sell it when I eventually finished it and almost 12 months on it's done so really needs to go to a good careing owner who will cherish it and give it the care and attention it deserves, I know I will just put it back in the garage and leave it there so better to sell it now than in another year.
All the chrome is excellent it had rare asllegro rubber mats in the front and allegro mudflaps all round, not much else to say the pictures say it all.
