We have owned this Discovery 3 HSE for the last four years and it has been excellent. It is the top of the range model with seven seats, three sunroofs, electric front seats with memory on the driver's one, heated seats front and rear, a factory fitted DVD player, alloy wheels and so on.
It has covered 147, 000 miles and has been serviced by Barrett's Land Rover and ourselves on the button. We have been thorough with the maintenance. There have been two previous registered owners to ourselves although only one driver as it was the previous owner's company car which he kept when he left the company.
The Discovery is very clean and smart and is only on sale as we have accidentally purchased a later model.
It is MOT'd to April 2018 but does require a little bit of attention which is why we have priced it so competitively. The front tyres are just legal and will need replacing shortly, the front lower wishbone bushes have just started knocking (a commom Disco 3 issue), the sat nav has stopped working (I use a £200 Tom Tom) and the radio is stuck on Radio 1. Where we have washed the car so frequently, a part of the lacquer has peeled off - there is a picture of this.
All the Discovery 3s in this price range seem to have covered very large mileages or have been treated poorly. This one is very clean throughout, and with some of the work done, can be excellent value.
We have finished with the car and simply do not have the time or enthusiasm to carry out the work. Some dealers are asking £7-9, 000 for 54 registered Discoverys.
The registration number does not come with the car.
