Description
The Austin Light Twelve-Four was a car produced by the Austin Motor Company from 1933 until 1939. It was replaced in 1939 by a completely new car also called the Austin 12, which kept the same engine.
The Austin Twelve Saloon, with its new body at the time, continued to exemplify the ideal family car, combining safety, economy, and appearance, with a highly satisfactory road response and really generous accommodation.
Its high and wide doors permitted easy entrance to and exit from the spacious interior. In appearance, this car is very pleasing with its flowing lines and easy contours. The riding ease and comfort of these cars were assured by the fitting of new type shock absorbers, lubricated road springs and improved rear axle. Excellent visibility was obtained by six large windows, while the deep, wide windscreen offers a good forward view of the road. The four windows that open, the flush fitting, disappearing sliding roof, together with the scuttle ventilators, provide ample ventilation.

This car is in VERY GOOD condition. The straightness of the body is a feature in itself. The interior is beautiful and mechanically car is very sound.
