A 1977 Ford Transit pickup, registration number WCL 815S, chassis number BD05TK62738, engine number 62738, Vista orange. This late Mk I Transit short wheel base single axle pickup features a 1, 600cc overhead valve engine and four speed gearbox. Restored by a previous owner, the Transit formed part of a West Country motor museum collection before being purchased by the vendor from a previous Charterhouse auction. During the restoration the Transit received works, including a refurbished rear with new timber sections, front wings and front panel. During the current ownership the flatbed has been restored with new wood by the vendor. WCL 815S has seen little use due to family commitments in recent years, only covering a few hundred miles. This Transit would make an excellent promotional vehicle with the possibility for film and television work. V5C, MOT to March 2018
