Description

The subject of an older restoration, this Standard is a great little car in good order. It starts well, drives very nicely, and indeed, is quite sprightly! There is a nice 4-speed gearbox, and clutch and brakes all operate well. The bodywork is good, with excellent shut lines and the paintwork is nice and shiny, although there are some blemishes. The underside of the car is very good indeed, as you can see from the photograph, nice and clean and tidy. Internally, the car has good headlining, and seating and door cards have been recovered at some stage recently. There is an opening sunroof that works well, flashing indicators have been fitted for safety. The chrome work is generally very good, the wheels and tyres are also very good. These Standards offer excellent value for money and this particular example would make a good first classic or even a daily runabout.
