A delightful and unspoilt example of the ever popular Ruby Saloon fresh from nearly twenty five years of ownership.
The black paintwork is in excellent order and has a lovely deep shine. It is offset by a neat red pinstripe around the waistline.
The interior is very original and while there is some wear to the leather seats it would be a shame to change them. The ‘Pytchley Sliding Roof’ is in good working order and the windscreen opens for additional ventilation.
The engine has recently been rebuilt and is nicely detailed. It starts on the button, showing good oil pressure.
There is a history file with the car which includes a buff log book that goes back to 1944. There are a number of invoices and also a complete MoT history for the period of the last ownership.
This Austin 7 is ready to enjoy now.
As always I will consider interesting vehicles in part exchange.
