It is in black and dark green with apple green interior.
A 1389cc, ohv pushrod, 10hp four cylinder engine is fitted with an SU carburettor and a four speed gearbox with freewheel. There is a steel sliding sunroof, a rear blind, a full tool kit, trafficators, and a working lube system for the suspension.
One of only five roadworthy cars known to the Rover Register, this beautiful Doctor's Coupe was the subject of full and detailed photographic restoration over a twenty year period by two fanatical owners. Everything has been restored or renewed and the whole rebuild is documented with countless photographs and invoices along with drawings and a notebook with detailed notes. There are three A4 files full of paperwork.
GEV 799 has been displayed at many rallies around the South Coast including trips to Goodwood and remains is absolutely superb order.
