This is a genuine Pilgrim Sumo AC Cobra fiberglass kit with a square tube frame especially designed to fit a Ford donor car, donor car used was a 1973 Ford Taunus Coupe GT.
It has a Finnish title and a current test certificate, title has it listed as a 1973 Ford Taunus Coupe GT
Built between 1993-1995 by two car enthusiasts brothers, it was the first AC Cobra replica to be registered in Finland with a V6 engine.
The speedometer was set at zero when completed, now showing just over 15000km.
The engine was rebuilt in 2003 (M. Pohto Motorsports) and the speedometer reading then was around 10000km, so the engine has only been driven around 5000km since the rebuild. At the same time there was a new ZF Lsd fitted. Gearbox had a normal service.
It was then sold in 2014, we have service history from 2104 to date and this is a two owner car.

94mm KS pistons.
Kent Cams 290 camshaft and springs.
Ported cylinder heads, flow test report included.
Large steel valves, intake 44, 5mm/ exhaust 38mm.
High pressure oil pump.
Offenhauser dual port inlet manifold.
Holley 390 cfm carburettor with K&N filter.
Custom exhaust manifold and system.
Crane Cams Fireball XR700 ignition system.
8mm silicone sparkplug leads.
Gearbox:
4-speed short shift.
242mm street race clutch.
Axle:
Ford big Atlas with ZF 40% lsd, 3. 44 ratio.
Suspension:
Front and rear Spax adjustable dampers.
Brakes:
Front 247mm Tarox drilled discs, EBC Green stuff pads.
Rear 9” drums.
Wheels:

Tyres:
Bridgestone Potenza RE050A, front 205-55/ 16, rear 225-50/ 16
Interior:
Custom made and in excellent condition.
