We have taken her back for a tune up in the intervening period and other than this nothing has changed, except another 250 miles have been added to her post restoration mileage

Anyway the restoration has been completed in the most glorious gunmetal metallic with soft cream hide interior and period correct grey webbing seat belts with chrome fixings
A set of triple side draft Weber carburettors feature on the inlet side the block, spitting and crackling as you spin the engine through the rev range, whilst on the other side of the block are a new set of stainless steel full flow exhaust manifolds, mating up to a stainless steel exhaust system, adding more than a decent dose of extra pep to the already excellent acceleration
The more spirited performance is also enhanced with better handling, care of the new competition, triple laced chromed 6" wire wheels with new Avon Turbo Steel 205 / 70 tyres
Adhesion is simply terrific and this super looking E Type goes just as well as she looks
Completely restored from the ground up, with a full photographic record as well as a nice hard backed booklet of the same, this car is as close to brand new and run in example, as you can find
Moreover for those in the know it is often considered the best E Type for which to go - synchromesh gear box, more torquey engine with a smoother power delivery, extra space in the cockpit, much more comfortable seats and just as fast as the early 3. 8 versions - and remember that our example is even more accelerative than the normal E Type and will show a clean pair of heals from most other sports cars of the period
Just 2. 250 careful miles have been traveled since the overhaul was completed, so no bug bears left and all the next owner has to do is plan that trip up the Stelveo Pass, to the Le Mans Classic or even the local pub for a nice Sunday lunch
