EXTERIOR
The Titanium Silver Metallic exterior paint is in fantastic condition and is a credit to its former keeper and only owner since new. The factory glass is present all around the vehicle with the BMW etchings on all of the windows. The car has a factory fresh depth of shine and still retains a beautiful gloss to the lacquer. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches. Likewise, all light lenses and trim retain an as-new appearance.
INTERIOR
The Grey Leather is in as close to new condition throughout, with minimal wear to be found. The carpet, trim, switches are as new. The seat bolsters are also completely unworn and are free from any scuffs or sagging. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. The windscreen still retains the original airbag sticker in the top left-hand corner. The toolkit is present and complete.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This E39 is powered by the BMW 2. 2-litre straight-six cylinder unit, mated to the five-speed automatic gearbox. This results in a seamlessly smooth drivetrain and this car is no exception. It performs perfectly and the car drives beautifully. Kick down works seamlessly when needed, and the straight-six engine gives a lovely tone. The engine still feels taught, unworn and not ‘run-in’ with this minimal mileage covered. The engine bay is completely original and has an appearance as close to new throughout.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 16-inch alloy wheels are in factory condition and are shod in a set of tyres all with good tread. The spare wheel and tyre are completely unused and are as-new.
HISTORY
This E39 520i was first registered in August 2001 and comes complete with spare key, owner’s manuals and MOT history. It is evident that this car has been maintained properly, and this is evident in person. This car is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
