Very early example (pre-introducttion of the passenger airbag) of the "Busso" powered 156, first registered in October 1999 and presented in a very rare specification. Beautiful Fantasia Blue paintwork paired with grey Momo leather interior and the optional electric sunroof. Just two owners from new in total, with the most recent having owned it since 2003.
We've had the car since September and in this time it's been treated to some extensive welding work (as, sadly, it seems all 156s of a similar vintage now require!) and subsequently treated with the superb Dinitrol anti-corrosion process to protect it for years to come. We've also fitted a brand new timing belt, water pump, auxiliary bearings, rocker cover gaskets, front suspension arms, brand new wooden gear knob and treated it to a fresh new service and a cosmetic spruce up. It now looks fantastic and, I've got to say, the pearlescent colour is one of my very favourites I've ever seen grace the perennially stylish 156 body.
It has covered 116k miles with a decent amount of service history including receipts for the work we've undertaken and 14 stamps in the service book (11 of which are from a main Alfa dealership). It is totally HPI clear and comes complete with an advisory free MoT which runs through to November 2018.
