Riley RME. With two great features, low miles, low owners. Fortunes spent on full body off restoration. This has to be one of the nicest Riley RME currently on the market, and offered at a fraction of the price it cost to do. The chassis is immaculate and has been powder coated. All of the steering, braking, suspension has been replaced or refurbished. All new wiring loom, complete engine rebuild, the list goes on and on..... The previous long term owner who commissioned the work, stated approx £70, 000 pounds having being spent. A lot of this is documented. If you know your Rileys, there are two areas that are costly, these have both been done at a huge expense. Firstly the screen surrounds, as water gets under the roof, these have been done properly, and the Ash frame, this has also been replaced, again at huge cost. The chrome is all immaculate and as new. The wheels and tyres are excellent. The interior is all new again, this also cost a fortune, with all new wood veneer, quality new headlining, wool carpets. Rarely seen on a car sub £20k, this quality of interior refurbishment is normally reserved for £100k Rolls Royces. True passion is shown in making this Riley what it is today. The two tone paintwork is of showroom standard. The original style vinyl roof is as new. When checking the car over we couldn’t even hear the engine running. If you are looking for one of the best, with great history, we don’t believe you will find better. There are more modern indicators fitted, battery isolator.
