EXTERIOR
The Alpine White exterior paint is in wonderful condition on this car. It is evidently clear that this has been a cherished car throughout its lifetime. The car still has a beautiful shine to the lacquer and the paintwork looks fresh. This example is free from all the common weaknesses E30s suffer from (rust below windscreen, rear tailgate, jacking points, sills). There is no rust, blemishes or scratches and is in wonderful condition for the age. Likewise, all light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance. The glass all around the car is original BMW, being etched with the BMW emblems. This car genuinely looks like it has covered less than half the mileage, viewing in person is highly recommended.
INTERIOR
The Grey Velvet is still in excellent condition throughout. The carpet, trim, switches are all free of wear and have aged very well. The interior is in beautiful original condition and the headlining on this example is in perfect order. All the carpets are immaculate and still retain the factory deep pile. The seat bolsters are perfect and are free from any scuffs or sagging. This example is so original, that the windscreen still retains the original running-in sticker! The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. –A common weakness on E30s.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This E30 is powered by the legendary BMW 2. 5-litre six-cylinder unit, mated to the automatic gearbox. This results in a silky-smooth drivetrain and this car is no exception. It performs perfectly and the car drives beautifully. This is honestly one of the quietest 325i E30s I have heard idle and shows this car has been serviced very regularly. The engine bay is wonderfully original, with the factory wax coating still in place throughout! This has definitely helped in keeping the engine bay entirely rust free. It has just been given a light clean, resulting in an engine bay with a fresh appearance throughout.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 14-inch bottle-top alloy wheels are in wonderful condition and are shod in tyres, all with good tread.
HISTORY
This E30 325i Touring was first registered in September 1990 and has a fully stamped service history, with 31 stamps in the book! The car comes with a huge amount of receipts and invoices over the years, dating back to 1997, whilst MOTs date back to 1996. It is evidently clear that this example has been maintained regardless of cost and is a credit to previous owners. This car is ready to be enjoyed on our roads. E30s of this condition and originality are getting scarce.
