Very original Volvo 240 DL Estate, long MOT (August) and with low mileage of 92K, mostly with the original lady owner from new in 1988-2017. Still in the original factory paint of Medium Blue which polishes up really well, with just a couple of bodywork rust blemishes to be expected of a car of this age.
And with masses of history and fully stamped service book, all from the Volvo supplying dealer in Devon.
This is the 2. 3 4 speed manual version and everything works including the heater etc. This classic load carrier, built like a tank of course, has not led a hard life like so many Volvo estates and the interior is lovely bar a hole on the drivers seat. Headlining very nice too and the central locking is fully functional. No radio ever fitted!
This car drives superbly and starts with ease even on cold and frosty mornings and this gives you the excuse to switch on the heated front seats!
As there was no evidence of a recent cam belt change, this has just been carried out with receipt to prove, using genuine Volvo parts.
The tailgate struts have been replaced also, as these were not doing their job.
All good to go and an increasingly rare sight on our roads and very pretty in the original Volvo blue with dark blue cloth interior.
An equivalent condition Mercedes W123 Estate would be at least double my asking price. When did you last see a Volvo 240 Series Estate on the road?
