Now arrived in UK. A 1972 Jaguar E-type Series 3 2+2 V12 Auto lhd. This was recently imported by ourselves from North America, and although we are listing as a project car, it is a sound, genuine car that could be brought up to a stunning example with careful work.
It is finished in an unusual, possibly non-Jaguar green and has the original chrome wheels and hub caps which in themselves are extremelt rare. The body looks sound with little apparent rust, although the respray could benefit from machine polishing. Inside the car is complete but with wear and tear visible.
We have had the engine running and have driven the car around our premises compound. The gears all select and the brakes will stop the car.
The car is NOVA registered with all taxes paid and will require MOT and registration before it can be used on UK roads. It will require trailering away.
We think this is an extremely good base for a really nice E-type, but because of the status of project it doesnt carry any warranty. Viewing is welcome, but by appointment please as this car may be moved into our storage facility shortly.
