This particular Mazda MX-5 Mk 2 is being offered by us as the current owner has just bought the green Mk1 we auctioned very recently. It is offered with absolutely no reserve. The current owner bought this Mazda last year with a full MOT as a bit of a fun for the summer. He took it to France, and used it to commute regularly before transferring to something more sensible for the winter. It has just had another new MOT and will provide someone with the same experience he has just had.
Drop the roof, pull out the suntan lotion, and smile.
The silver paintwork is generally in good condition, although there are a few areas of lacquer peel, a couple of rust blisters and the rear bumper appears to be sagging on one side. None of it is unexpected for a car of this age and mileage, and remember it is all selling for no reserve. All flaws are photographed in the Gallery.
The front wheels have been reconditioned, and the hood outer cover does appear to be in very good condition. It is surprising that there is no invoice for a new hood as it does appear to be too good to be the original.
