My E28 B9 3. 5 Replica. I used the car in standard form every day for over a year, the BMW proving to be ultra reliable. She has 126k miles.
Over the period. The car is a M20B20 Auto which start, runs and drives fine. Over the period I have owned it I have slowly transformed her into an Alpina B9 tribute. As you can appreciate some of the parts fitted are exceedingly rare and difficult to source. No sorry I won't sell anything seperately.
The car has been painted in the past and the paint. She cleans up well as does the chrome but she is not perfect. Please don't expect her to be spotless, she is 30+ years old and has the marks to prove it.
I have just fitted all new suspension front and rear, new adjustable dampers and lowering springs including all new rubbers, mountings and bump stops. Along with stripping, blasting, painting and rebuilding the struts the car has had new 10. 9 fittings where required.
The suspension is therefore zero miles and not torqued up yet as I have a set of poly bushes to install which will be supplied with the car. You can fit these or run with standard new type. The original calipers are off the car (supplied) and can be refitted, I will supply a pair of newly rebuild E34 V8 front calipers and HEL braided lines too. Note upper arms are not fitted and will be supplied.
I have temporarily left the old upper arms in place to keep her on her wheels.
All the hard work is done (stripping 30+ years of suspension is no fun). So the buyer can finalise and re-torque the front up as required with very little labour/ time Also included are new anti-roll bar drop links and some ARB poly bushes along with Poly bushes for the front arms and rear arms if you want to fit them.
The wheels are genuine 16" 7 and 8 staggered Alpinas and are super rare. They are fitted with as new Uniroyals all round. The Alpina style rear spoiler is also very rare and hard to find.
The interior is clean and there are no splits in the dash. The Seat is my favorite place to sit ever being an original BMW Scheel from the 70's. the only thing the interior is missing is a nice alpina steering wheel and manual box. I will include a manual pedal set should you want to do an engine and box swap.
So all in a great classic with all the right bits and loads of potential. Have I seen another one on the road in a lot of years, no.
