In Blaze Red with navy blue vinyl interior with original quadric steering wheel.
4 door saloon.
Originally registered in January 1974.
Just over 38, 000 miles. The MOT history verifies this.
I put it through it's MOT (even though it's exempt) in October 2022 as a safety check and peace of mind. I've paid over £400 in order for the car to pass it's MOT as it needed some work doing to some bits and bobs. I can supply the invoice with the work done. Note, none of the work done was structural as the car is in very good condition for its age - even the MOT tester remarked this (you may have heard this many times before!).
As I've mentioned it is MOT exempt, I must point out that it is also ULEZ exempt, with it being classified as a historical vehicle.
The paintwork is flat and it actually looks better in the pictures than it does if you see it in person. There are in some places where the paintwork has been touched up manually by the previous owner(s). I'd say this is the worst part of the car. This is my honest opinion of the paintwork. Also bear in mind it's a car that is coming up to it's 50th birthday.
The hydragas suspension holds firm and true.
New condenser and rotor fitted. The car has also has a new starter motor and the carb has a new needle and jet. Engine also had a retune done recently.
The interior of the car is in good condition for it's age. Not perfect, with the odd blemish, such as a little tear in the edge of the driver's seat (covered with tape).
Comes with spares (rear light clusters x 2) and the obligatory instruction manuals.
The reason for sale is because I don't use the car that much and I don't like seeing it not being used.
The head hasn't been skimmed, so cannot take unleaded fuel without lead-replacement additives. I'll include some in the sale if you're good.
