I bought the car 12 years ago. Stripped it down completely. Underneath was wire brushed, sand blasted then re-undersealed with Dinitrol. Internal bodywork was sprayed with wax coat Dinitrol.
All subframes and chassis parts were removed, wire brushed, sand blasted, rust proofed with Dinitrol then powder coated. New bushes throughout. External bodywork was sanded down, any rust was removed then a full professional respray. The soft top was replaced with a new mohair one with glass window and demister. Door seals and roof guttering all replaced. New cam belt and pulleys fitted at 98, 000 miles. Regular service and new battery fitted last year. It has a battery isolation switch fitted to stop the fuel pump flattening the battery, as they do. Lovely car and love driving it during the summer but the wife doesn't like it as its to "poseurish" she says. The car is kept in a garage every night. There are a few scratches and little scrapes mainly done in the garage, by me! There is a matching full size alloy wheel and tyre spare along with the space saver wheel. Also a hard top which is black vinyl look-alike, with electrical connection for internal light and rear demister.
I am the 9th keeper, the previous keeper, whom I bought it off in August 2011, had it for four years. There is no service history with the car but it is MOT'd until 15/ 11/ 23. I have given it regular services and oil and filter changes. I have a full set of receipts for parts bought by me.
