Here for sale is a lovely little 1994 MK1 Mazda MX5 featuring the peppy 1. 8L dual overhead cam engine mated to a very engaging manual gearbox.
This example recently taken in part exchange has covered around 110k miles from new by its previous custodians oversea and in the UK.
This cosmetically tidy and rust free example was imported to the UK in 2007 and comes with its original owners manuals, book packs, comprehensive service history, MOT certificates and original spare wheel.
The underside appears to be in relatively good condition with only very light signs of surface corrosion to note.
Externally the Mazda presents in very good order for one of these. The red paintwork is nice and bright and the recent addition of the gold Calibre alloy wheels set the car off perfectly.
The black soft top convertible roof presents in good order and is water tight as expected. Fortunately it is free from any rips, stairs or major tears.
The tan interior contrasts perfectly and presents in very tidy condition showing just minor imperfections such as some wear to the drivers bolster.
Aftermarket JVC radio installed.
Valid MOT until April of 2026.
Last major service in March of 2025.

Taken in part exchange this MK1 Roadster will be offered as an ongoing project car and sold on a spares or repairs basis. This is because we haven’t carried out our usual pre sale inspections and therefore cannot provide a warranty with the vehicle.
Issues noticed with the car:
Oil leaking from the rocket cover
Front brakes appear to be binding
Front discs and pads low and lipped
Various other unidentified oil leaks
If you're after an engaging, lightweight Japanese project car from the 90s then this little MX5 might be the car for you! With values of good examples on a steady rise, l should think your money would be pretty safe, and certainly more fun than in the bank.
