1955 Slip windscreen four-door
After owning it for over 30 years I have reluctantly decided to sell the Old girl due to downsizing. It’s a 1955 four-door slit windscreen Morris Minor fitted reconditioned engine(1098cc) including a new Carburettor and reconditioned gearbox around 2015. (All receipts for above)It was comprehensive and professionally restored by a Morris minor company in Manchester in
1992. A mini restoration was completed in 2015 with a full respray, new brakes cylinders drums, slave cylinder, and new trunnions bushes. Five new tyres. The underneath of the car is now 100% perfect after some welding was done under the spare wheel where some water got in via the boot rubber seal(now replaced new). The boot is in top shape with the original starting handle, grease gun and jack. Back wings removed and treated under sealed new rubber Beiding fitted. A comprehensive undersealing of the underside of the car has been completed similarly to the back wings. All New chrome on bumpers etc. New window rubbers on back and front windows. New roof lining leather seats are like new, all new carpets front and rear, door cards perfect, new glove box’s both sides. The car has 5 owners (3 family) all documents are available and a folder is full of service and repair receipts back to the sixth. The car has 72. 205 miles on the clock. The miles are correct and genuine with MOT certificates to back the miles up. An offer for the Registration back in 2005 was £850 net. Viewing is recommended. It’s a beautiful car outside and inside.
