The B6-generation Audi S4 remains the best of the lineage. Powerful, aesthetically pleasing, and wholly desirable, this S4 is a tarmac-hungry warrior that will defend your honour and leave an admiring rabble in your wake.
Presented in original factory unmarked Brilliant Red and having covered 71, 400 miles since new (under 4, 000 miles per annum), the car has been treated with care and respect for all of its life. The chrome exterior trims have been professionally wrapped in gloss black and the rear windows have been tastefully tinted along with a brand new tinted windscreen fitted in August 2022.
The dreaded timing chain was replaced at 55, 033 miles by Northgate Audi at a cost of £2317, and there are 10 service stamps in the service book. Supplied new by Northgate Audi on 29/ 05/ 04, the vehicle has enjoyed the custodianship of only two previous owners. The first of whom kept the Audi until February 2020. A stack of invoices and paperwork documents the car's history and activity, while the MoT record showcases an Audi in perfect health.
Any previous advisories have been swiftly dealt with, regardless of cost.
This Audi comes with a full and extensive service history that's more like a phonebook. Not only is the service history wholly comprehensive, but there are eight service stamps from Audi of Kings Lynn, and two stamp from a trusted independent Audi specialist, the most recent was a Major Service (at 71, 000miles in July 2022) costing £850
Thousands of pounds have been spent on the Audi's upkeep, and an array of invoices can verify this . An original bill of sale from Northgate Audi is included (stating a showroom cost of £35, 710), and a full book pack, consisting of the service book, handbook and even original sales brochure.
In my ownership the car has been tastefully treated to some modest upgrades including a brand new set of genuine 19” S4 Rotor Alloys fitted with 245/ 35/ 19 Hankook Ventus tyres, a full Milltek exhaust system including decat pipes, new genuine rare front and rear mudflaps, brand new MTEC Cross Drilled discs with Mintex brake pads all round and fully detailed brake calipers, a bespoke handmade flat bottom steering wheel. Since the photos were taken I’ve fitted brand new tinted rear lights, side repeaters, tinted headlights along with genuine RS3 Quattro door decals, I’ve also fitted RS4 carbon dash panel inserts.
A Stage 2 remap was carried by Audi experts MRC Tuning in July 2022, and produced a very healthy 360bhp and 450nm of torque at a cost of £550.
The original 18” Avus alloy spare wheel and Continental tyre are brand new and have never been fitted to the car along with the unused Jack and Tool kit and an Audi Cargo Net on the boot floor.
The interior is as fresh as when it came out of the showroom with minimal to no wear on the electric Recaro seats, the headlining is perfect along with the unused ski bag in the centre rear armrest. All the switches are free from wear and everything works as it should including ice cold air conditioning.
The car is also fitted with a Trackstar tracking device which is currently active with a subscription.
As far as desirable Audis go, the B6-lineage S4 of 2004-2008 ranks highest of all the realistic purchases. If you can find a well-cared-for example that sports under 100, 000 miles, then you've got a collector's item to die for, so with only 71, 000 miles this example is a worthy candidate if you are looking for a low mileage, low ownership properly maintained S4 this ticks all the boxes for sure.
I can assure you this is probably the best S4 B6 in the country unlike the majority of most others having never had any paintwork or been involved in any previous accidents and cherished by its low previous owners.
Yes I know this is not the cheapest advertised but this isn’t your average abused and neglected S4, if your looking for the best then look no further, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
The private plate is not included in the sale and will go back onto its original registration.
