A superb example of a Morris Van in its landmark 60th year.
The van was fully restored back to its former glory around 6 years ago, and I purchased it in 2020. It has been kept indoors since I have owned it and runs like a dream (starts first-time, every time).
There are some blemishes in the paint around the roof line, though all previous rust was professionally treated as part of the refurb and the condotion has not changed at all since I purvhased it. The full exterior of the van was professionally re-sprayed in the traditional Rose Taupe colour, commensurate with its era.
I have had the two seats professionally re-upholstered too in high quality claves leather in cream and green, as you can see.
The underneath was professionally sealed too so as to guard from the elements.
The engine fires up first time, every time and the tyres are practically like new (including 5th wheel in the back as a full-sized spare).
I recently had the HT Leads changed, and a new battery and spark plugs put in too, as well as a brand new tyre on the rear and a new choke line put in, as the old one was a bit stiff.
The van wants for very little and would be a great little run-around or even an active work van. (London congstion charge, ULEZ, etc. exempt).
Tax and MOT exempt too. You're going to love this van. I originally bought it when I loved in London and with it being so narrow and small, it was perfect for parking and was just as quick as anything else in London.
I had dreams of having it professionally hand sign-written and to turn it into a mobile coffee van (and espresso martini truck at night!). Alas, though it would have been perfect for that, I never actually got around to doing it.
Will hate to see it go, thouhg I am relocating to USA later this year, whic hforces the sale.
