1957 Wolseley 1500 Mk1
Sadly selling this well maintained and very presentable little
Wolseley having only owned it since February. I bought the car from a
well respected member of the Register and his advert is still
available on the site. The car has a rebuilt engine and gearbox, is
currently MOT ed and runs/ drives very nicely.
The only additions other than those previously noted, an aftermarket
brake servo and twist off oil filter, are that the steering
rack has been re-greased and a new gaitor fitted, plus a new battery.
I’m selling only because the 1500 was my first foray into manual gear
changing since a knee ligament issue forced me down the auto’box
route many years ago. Unfortunately through no fault of the clutch/ gearbox
in the Wolseley this knee issue has returned. I’m going to be looking for
something from the same era but with an automatic gearbox to replace the 1500.
