This is my 1974 Beetle, tax and MOT exempt. The car runs very well and pulls nicely , the engine has no end float and doesn’t leak oil. It is stock height so drives really nice. It hasn’t been modified in any way or been welded and it doesn’t need welding which is a rare thing! Its original interior is also in really good condition with just a couple of small tears in the back seat (see pics) , it’s rock solid underneath ( reason we bought it in the first place )
Drives really nice, cruises at 50 all day long. Paint work has a few bubbles and blisters (see the last few pics) but still looks good, she is nearly 50 after all! Pops out of reverse unless you keep hand on gearstick but it was never an issue hence we never got it sorted, it was her one quirky trait ( they all have them!) and you’re only in reverse for a few seconds! Other than that it’s a nice honest car and I’m sad to be seeing her go but the holiday of a lifetime forces her sale
