A very stunning pre-war 1937, BSA 350 Empire Star limited edition with matching numbers, engine / frame, in beautiful condition throughout, has been an absolute joy to ride, very easy starter with five tickles and one to 2 kicks, and she sits idling.
The Empire Star was named after the Silver Jubilee of King George V and is the predecessor to the Gold Star before production ceased due to WW2.
Fully restored in the mid 90s using all original BSA components I understand as the previous owner was very particular in using all the correct nuts and bolts and other items and then covered in wax for preservation until recently.
The fuel tank at the time was full of oil again for preservation purposes whilst being stored i understand , and current condition dictates that was very likely.
Fully serviced now using the correct Castrol classic oils and brand-new tires and ready for its new owner as I have too many bikes and very sadly this stunning BSA would like to go a new home.
I have owned this rare bike since Christmas and has two previous owners before me.
The first owner had it until 1969, then passed it to the next door neighbour who fully restored it but understand, virtually didn’t use it and got sold to a classic bike dealership in London and I purchased it this Christmas just gone from them.
I need to be realistic and thin out some of my collection of bikes.
Work commitments and other hobbies have taken precedence sadly.
Original rider handbooks and buff logbook and comes with some original tools with some new rare components included as spares. V5C present!
