Hello,
For sale is my 1988 Suzuki GSX-R GSXR 250cc Super Sport bike. This is a 250cc 4 cylinder peice of Japanese engineering excellence in the iconic 'Gixxer' colours. These 250's were made to look like their bigger brothers of the day (i. e the slingshot 750) but fit in with the Japanese licence requirements.
The rev counter starts at 3k and goes round to 19k, but its still very Japanese in that all the controls are positive and its actually usable / nice to bike ride!
The bike starts on the button, clutch is light and the gears all select nicely. Neutral is a doddle to find as most Japanese stuff is!
Details on the bike:
6 previous owners to me with the previous two having it for 5-10 years. I purchased it earlier on in the year and have spent quite a fair amount getting it ready to use and ride.
1 years MOT with no advisories, 30600 KM which is 19000 miles.
Parts / work carried out
Carbs stripped, ultra sonically cleaned, new seals and screws - then balanced.
New fork seals and fork oil, gapped etc
2 brand new tyres
New fuel tap / fuel system cleaned (including tank)
Brakes stripped and serviced including new pads
New oil filter, air filter and 10w40 Fully Synth Oil
New plugs and replacement leads / coils
A full check over of the bike, chain adjustment etc
Fairing / panels
The bike has all of its original panels, which in my opinion are in very good condition for the age. I have replaced a couple of the missing lower stickers and then given the panels a full clean and polish. There is a crack on the front fairing and the odd mark but i've left them as I feel its better to have original paint. The exhaust has been patched at some point but it is the original one.

I have old MOT's and reciepts, there is also a translated owners manual. There is one genuine key that fits all the locks. V5 in my name at my address.
I have a few bits to go with the bike too, spare coils, fuel tap, seals, stickers etc
