A very rare and sought after 1999 SAAB 9-3 Viggen Convertible 2. 3T in Lightning Blue, one of 50 imported into the UK in this colour in '99, a very rare survivor that drives beautifully.
I have owned this car since 2019, and have spent circa £5000 in sorting out lots of imperfections and niggles that are common to these cars. When I purchased the car, it came with a massive Service portfolio amounting to in excess of £16, 000 over the previous 4 years, all receipts still present.
The car is fitted with a host of Abbot Racing goodies including Viggen Rescue Kit and Sub Frame Brace, all documented, including a full Abbot Racing S/ Steel exhaust system with a 3" down pipe with a recent 3. 5 bar Fuel pressure regulator to support the RawSAAB stage 3 re-map in 2022. (original Factory ECU is also with the car if you wanted to put it back to stock)
I had the Bulkhead professionally done by Suffolk SAAB, all the little carpark dings removed from the bodywork professionally, and had paint rectification carried out anywhere it was required.
Alloy wheel's all trued and refurbished, 4 brand new KUHMO Tyres fitted.
Brand new Battery fitted.
Brand new Polybushed Wishbones fitted, along with new Top Mounts and Bearings.
All emblems have been replaced with genuine SAAB items, including the Wheel centres, genuine SAAB.
New Crank Vent pipe kit had been fitted.
The car is not concurs, nor does it purport to be, but it is in really lovely condition now in it's striking Lightning Blue with so much work done since 2019.
The roof works, it has been serviced recently at SAAB Centre MK. I believe it is the original Mohair roof, and so is showing some minor wear on the rear section, but perfectly functional.
All the original keys present.
Full service pack and Owners Manual are present.
Seats are all in very good condition, with no bolster wear or tears.
The private plate MII VGN is NOT included in the sale, it is currently on retention but can be negotiated separately.
