I'm pleased to present this absolutely stunning, completely original and unbelievably low mileage 2001 Citroen Xsara Picasso, on a rare early Y reg.
This vehicle has covered a mere ** 4, 879 miles** from new, supported by extensive paperwork and service history. The gentleman who had owned this car from new only drove to the yearly MOT and service, and occasionally to the shops. This has only ever been worked on at Citroen main dealer and has a vast paper trail attesting to this.
The condition of this vehicle is hard to believe, it's a time warp back to 2001 both inside and out. Never have I had the pleasure of being in a car of this age with an interior that is virtually unused, it is like stepping back in time to when the car rolled off the production line.. and the paintwork - it gleams as beautifully as the day it was applied.
The car passed it's MOT with flying colours on 12/ 07/ 2023, so a full years MOT is included in the sale. The MOT tester was stunned with the mileage and condition, complimenting the entirety of the vehicle when carrying out the test. While having the MOT, it gave me an opportunity to view underneath and I was not disappointed, it's in blinding condition - brakes, suspension, engine, gearbox, chassis.
Mechanically, the car performs exactly as you'd expect a virtually new car to perform. Engine is perfect, runs so smoothly and quietly. The steering and suspension feel sharp and responsive, having minimal wear on all components. It's a pleasure to drive a 22 year old car that performs like new, it really is something special.
Electric windows, ice cold fully working air conditioning, electric mirrors, steering wheel controls, 5 speed manual gearbox, even has an original, unused Citroen shopping trolley in the boot and all factory floor mats in perfect condition. The rear seats have never even been used!
The 1. 6 engine has been meticulously maintained and serviced using only genuine parts throughout the years. It's also ULEZ exempt, should you live inside the ULEZ area.
