One of the best Thunderbirds available either side of the Atlantic. Fully restored in the late 90’s it fully retained its originality and is approaching Concours. By common consent the ‘57 Thunderbird is the most sought after.
A D Code version with 5. 1 litre - 245 bhp. Automatic and fully optioned with electric seats, windows, AC and power brakes. Finished in superb and rare Thunderbird Bronze with matching bronze and ivory two tone. Period correct whitewalls and Faux Kelsey- Hayes wire wheel trims.
The paintwork is practically flawless with just one or two very minor blemishes. Ditto the brightwork. The engine retains its absolute originality but is fully detailed and immaculate.
The car has benefited from a new oil pump, new fuel pump and the radiator has just been copper recored for better cooling.
The hood is superb and has a new swing bar and frame. There is also an immaculate hardtop in white with the iconic 1957 porthole.
If you want a T’Bird you are unlikely to find a better one in the UK. A multiple show winner.
