Chevrolet Corvette C3
End of the sixties in the USA; musical legends emerged and American car companies had ‘the horsepower race’. Everyone can remember this car, or can remember seeing it in a magazine once. The Chevrolet C3.
Cars and stripes: beautiful American brute force and iconic lines. With the sight of the Corvette, something starts tickling many people’s bellies. After all, it is the American Dream how every young lad envisioned it in the sixties. From dipping fries in McDonald’s grease, to roaring in a Chevrolet Corvette! This generation Corvette was so beloved that it was in production for no less than 14 years, and had two facelifts.
Our Stingray Cabriolet was born in the United States in 1971, after which it came to the Netherlands in 2015. Here, the C3 has been neatly maintained, and mostly enjoyed.
Fortunately, this one still has a huge plus. A completely new tickled (5. 7L, V8) 400 cubic inch SBC Corvette block in it. This block was bought by the previous owner and installed by the specialist. This feat of engineering gives both the driver and bystanders a big smile.
The USA chose to order the Corvette in Sunflower yellow, so this cool colour will make sure your red neck doesn’t burn even more. Put on your bold shoes, and come enjoy your childhood sweetheart as a vice!
