Here is our 2 door Austin A30 known as Blue Bell, rebuilt over last 6 months as a project with my old mate as a bit of recovery therapy . solid car , never welded, had a charmed life with previous long time owner.
Lots of work carried out to make it a great driver for today's roads.
Engine is a 1000cc unit to give it just a bit more go , gets along great, no oil leaks at all, Alloy rocker cover , Carb refurbished. new battery
Electronic ignition fitted , new charge control unit , New exhaust system. runs perfectly starts first time .
Brakes have been rebuilt all round with copper pipes and new flexible pipes and uprated larger VW beetle master cylinder with remote fluid bottle under bonnet, its stops well now.
All the front suspension has been replaced , rebuilt including king pins, wish bones , springs , cross pins , see picture
2 front tyres are new , rear very good , Sand blasted and painted Rostyle wheels fitted.
Interior is original seats no rips or marks, new carpets and head lining ,
New re chromed rear bumper , rest of chrome good , some new window seals fitted as well
Paint work is presentable all round with no rust spots
Badge bar fitted , All lights , indicators , wipers ETC working perfectly.
The original number plate that was on the car has been taken , original buff log book with the car when we bought it ,
We have now got the V5 document sorted with age related number and all the correct details , good bit of history file with car,
Great Car all round , desirable 2 door model with solid shell if you want to go racing. Keeps all its charm as original . Spent most of its life in a garage by its long term owner. Been uprated and re commisioned
