Hello and welcome to our lovely little Fiat.
This supremely rare example is as far as we can tell the very last remaining Fiat Tipo ‘Liberty’ on UK roads and has been lovingly cared for by one owner from new with no expense spared.
This ‘unicorn’ car has lived a pampered life. After previously owning a Lancia from the same dealer, Mr and Mrs Cox ordered this limited edition model brand new in 1995. The Fiat was used every week until Mr Cox (very reluctantly) retired from driving in 2021.

Featuring the renowned 1. 6 i . e engine, there is an excellent blend of performance and economy. The engine is very sweet and pulls well. It really could be used every day without drama.
The history is just lovely. All the book packs come with the car, as does an excellent service record. The original brochure from when the couple viewed the car in ‘94 is still present, as is their ‘Fiat Aftercare’ package.
2 keys are of course present.
Those of you looking at this will I’m sure remember the Tipo was fully galvanised from new. It also was commended as European car of the year in ‘88. As a result, the paintwork and bodywork are exceptionally good and original for a 30 year old car. I have tried to show this in the photographs.
We have gently recommissioned this car and it now has an MOT right till June 24. The MOT tester was amazed as it needed literally a suspension arm and a wiper, demonstrating the love and care the couple has clearly paid the Fiat.
