MOT'd til Aug'24. Have owned for the past 18 years and has only 1 previous owner.
• Completely original and in unmodified condition (even down to the floor mats)
• Full Service History and maintained by VW specialists for most of its life.
• Comes with original keys (two) and manufacturer’s instruction manual including original 25th edition cover
• Cambelt and water pump replaced at ~80, 000 miles
• Exterior:
- Paintwork in good condition for age. Minor stone chips expected.
- Wheels were refurbished about 7 years ago and remain in good cosmetic condition. Centre hub caps show some deterioration which is normal for the BBS alloys
- Light rust around both front wheel arches (see pics)
- Minor lacquer peel around bottom of offside rear window (see pics)
• Interior:
- Good condition overall
- Carpets are clean and seats are all in good cosmetic condition with no water marks/ stains
- Rear seats have only been used a handful of times during their lifetime and look like new
- Passenger seat hardly used and is still nice and firm
- Driver seat is good cosmetic condition although slightly softer than others through use.
- Leather on steering wheel and hand brake show little wear
- Locking mechanism broken on glove box (normal fault for Mk4s)
- Some of the cheaper plastics used for the lower dash and centre console have slightly deteriorate and become ‘sticky’ to the touch (normal for Mk4s)
Overall the vehicle has been well looked after and is in very good condition for its age, representing a great example of an original spec 25th Anniversary.
