Yamaha FS1E DX 1976 R. Total nut and bolt restoration over 3 year period. Show standard.
All paintwork undertaken in professional workshops.
Tank and side panels decals lacquered over.
All other parts painted or powder coated.
Engine and gear box re-built with new bearings, new seals.
Forks rebuilt. Brake caliper rebuilt. DR Fizzy loom.
This bike is not restricted and does not have the pedal system. Changed to the French footrest.
45-50 mph on the flat.
Deemed an uneconomical repair in 1981. Salvage retained. Non matching numbers.
Registered to me since 1981. MOT and tax historic exemptions.
