This is an exceptional example of the revered BMW R100RS, often described as the Rolls Royce of motorcycles by knowledgeable riders. It comes complete with the original luggage system and is ready to ride away.
(I've listed this bike as 'having been imported' because all BMW's are, as far as I'm aware, imported). V5C is current UK.
As of September 2023 this bike will be 40 years old and, as such, tax free and MOT exempt. This bike has obviously been very well looked-after by the one previous owner and is being sold as part of the owner's estate. Twin discs mean that the stopping power of this machine is up to modern standards and the smooth 980cc engine is capable of around 130 mph - well above anything you should be doing in the UK!
This is an extraordinarily comfortable machine to ride and has done relatively few miles in its 40 years of life.
